Om meg
Hi!
I’m Hugo Elias, a Brazilian visual artist and designer based in Bergen, Norway, born in 1984, with a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication. Since 2011, I’ve been creating projects ranging from murals, street art, and paintings to illustrations, logos, and visual identities.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked on educational and cultural projects in Brazil, collaborating with schools, companies, and cultural institutions. Becoming a father in 2022 gave me a new perspective — spending time with my daughter and interacting with children strengthened my interest in projects for younger audiences.
In Norway, I started with Fagerspill and workshops at Sunnhordland Folk High School, and I’ve also been involved in collaborative art projects with local artists. I currently work with two galleries and collaborate closely with the artist AFK, which has helped me develop new techniques, deepen my street art practice, and build local connections.
Today, I continue creating my own work — murals, street art, and visual identities — while expanding educational projects through workshops for children and teenagers. I’m also exploring how Norwegian and Scandinavian culture can inspire my art. I look forward to new collaborations, creative challenges, and projects that connect people through visual art.
